“The concert yesterday was fun and interesting. I really liked their choices of music to play. I really liked the glissandos (where they play from the highest note on the piano to the lowest.) I would like to go see the Merling Trio again in the future.”

“I enjoyed the concert. They did play a lot of tangos but each one was different enough that they sounded good. I thought the violinist was really good. She could play so fast! It was weird when the guy played his instrument with the chop sticks, but it sounded so good. I was also glad to get out of some school.”

“I thought the cello was really cool. I didn’t know cello players could play so fast. I also liked the violinist because she played so fast and at times so high that it sounded like birds were singing. The pianist was also kind of cool. When she leaned over the piano with her platinum blond hair she looked a lot like Mrs. D. I also got to sit next to C.H. the whole time so I was happy.”

“The performance was very nice. I like the assortment of different music. I especially like the different tangos played by the trio. I could really tell that they practiced a lot for the performance. I would like to see them again.”

“The performance of the Merling Trio was very impressive. I would like to compliment the fact that they played very interesting styles of music. Even though they each had many different melodies to play at the same time, they kept it up, listened to each other, and played really well! I would like to thank the people of EFA for supporting this program so we could see it.”
