Education for the Arts at the Dalton Center
Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan
March 13 & 15, 2007
Education for the Arts bussed in students from all over Kalamazoo to hear the Merling Trio at the Dalton Center at Western Michigan University.
Our program for this concert included several of the Piazzolla tangos we
recently released on CD. Students had been listening to this music for
weeks in preparation for the concert.
The audience was made up of students in grades 2-5. What great listeners!
Intense concentration....
Education for the Arts packed the auditorium for both of these concerts.
We always make a point to talk about ourselves and our music...the kids
really enjoyed this!
We included some question and answer in this presentation, and got some
really insightful questions from the audience.
Tom Knific joined us for a performance of the Proto Quartet.
Warm applause from a great audience!
